Last minute touches: Frost cupcakes. These turned out SO yummy and everyone loved them! So I'm putting the recipe at the bottom for my future reference :) Her birthday cake DID NOT turn out as planned. The whip cream frosting was not easy to decorate with So... I just plopped a flower on top and called it good. Set these out on the table Taped this on the door and decorated the table... PARTY TIME. I was so stressed out because my parents tables were somehow completely demolished when we went to set them up. THEN my dad only brought 12 chairs instead of 20! But, everything worked out great Some of the people who came to party Uncle Cambo Pete's brothers. They ended up staying the night and watching the super bowl. We had such a good time. I LOVE birthdays and I've had a lot of fun preparing for Audrey's. It all started with the invitations  I made her a birthday cake and crown for pictures We took pictures. Addie did a fabulous job like she always does, I'll post more later. Turn these buckets from the thrift store into... these purty little centerpieces. I still have to hot glue the stickers on because they keep popping off!  My mom used to always have a birthday poster that hung up on the door our whole birthday month. So, I decided to do that with a twist. I did each month of her life and then I'm going to have each person at her party write something they love about her or a memory, and paste to each page then bind together in a book.  Taco salad meat is made Punch is freezing Cupcakes are waiting to be frosted Her birthday banner is made and hanging Everything is set out and ready to be set up! Audrey loves the bath or ba ba as she would say. I've just been waiting for her to figure out how to get in. I made the mistake of leaving the laundry too close.  Look how proud she is of herself!

Rise and Shine! She's not normally THIS upset when I get her. I had already taken one picture and the flash made her mad... plus who likes their picture taken right when they wake up?  Audrey used to sleep from 6:30pm to 6:30am which was amazing. She has now started waking up around this time. Thank goodness today she fell back asleep with me  until  But this is not always the case, which makes for a REALLY long day. Her favorite things to do once she is awake are pull the blinds up to look at the birds and sometimes there is a rabbit I named Penelope... and read books. She will grab one book at a time bring it over for me to read one page, throw it on the floor and then run and get another one. EVERY MORNING Time to pick out an outfit, I love this part! Wake daddy up. He stays up late doing homework so he gets to sleep in a little longer While Pete is getting ready we make breakfast Then play with Audrey while we eat Kiss daddy good-bye... kinda bad picture but he was running late...

I can't get back into the blogging business, but I'm going to try really hard. Here are some things that have happened in my little life. Audrey is a walkin' like a pro. I can't believe she is going to be 1 in 10 days in kills me! Everyone said it will go by fast, but man it goes by FAST! She's still has her daddy wrapped around her finger, and cry's EVERY time he leaves for work. It has been spectacular having a husband who isn't stressed with school, and having to spend every spare minute writing one of his bazillion papers. I'm so bummed that school started again yesterday, hopefully this semester isn't as rough. Last semester till he graduates... HOORAY! New Years was fantastic. I love low key New Years Eve celebrations. We put Miss Audrey to sleep and had a party of our own. We were able to catch up on some movies we missed, from when Audrey was first born. Apparently we didn't really miss anything. We didn't make it till midnight. Unfor...
