Fashion Statement

We went Christmas shopping last Saturday and Audrey INSISTED that one arm be pulled out of the sleeve. By insisting I mean she would throw a little tantrum every time we fixed it and then proceed to pull her arm out again. She certainly has a mind of her own.
Remember when I found that disgusting black widow and I was going to call the exterminator... still hasn't happened, but I will get to it. Last week we noticed something weird in one of our trees. So we we went to examine it. Don't worry it's just a gazillion bees swarming!  Our nice neighbor took care of it with dish soap and water... who knew?

FREEZING

I love days that look like this  Because it justifies going down to Safeway and purchasing this A piping hot bowl of this soup, accompanied with some sourdough bread is to DIE for Unfortunately our heater BROKE! So we look like this

Disneyland

Apparently I did a bad job taking pictures, I was just having too much fun! Once again all the good ones are on my mom's camera. Since she is computer challenged I'm not so sure those pictures will ever made their way to the computer. So mine will have to do, even though none of them look like we are at Disneyland. All I'm going to say is it was the best trip ever!  Good morning pretty girl let's get ready for Disneyland! Of course she was up and ready to go at the crack of dawn. I'm so sad this picture is dark because it is so darn cute! Audrey knew something exciting was going on from the moment she woke up. She couldn't quite dancing, clapping and laughing. She woke up SO early and didn't take her usual morning nap since there was too much going on. Around noon I was on my way to the mothers room which is a little hidden treasure tucked away on Main Street. I was almost there when she just hunched over and was completely out! So I just wrapped her in the ...

Hollywood

Our first day in California we just took it easy and headed down to LA and Hollywood. I have always heard about the famous hot dog stand called PINKS and my brothers rave about it so we had to hit it up.  It was pretty good, and the chilli was superb. I'm not going to lie though, I didn't think it was the best thing I've ever had. It was a good experience to go to a historic landmark in Hollywood, but it's not anything I need to do again.  After that we headed to the Chinese Theater and while we were driving there Herby the love bug was in front of us which we thought was odd. At the next inersection was the car from Back to the Future, and parked by the side of the road was the old Batmobile. Unfortunatly all these things were happening too fast so we didn't get any pictures but it was so cool! We found out that there was going to be a big Christmas parade with famous people. There was a red carpet and everything but my lame brother and husband thing parades are us...

Cousins

I was so excited for Audrey to meet her cousin Isabel for the first time. They weren't as fond of each other as I had anticipated.  Audrey gets jealous every time Granny Jules holds Isabel Isabel wasn't too fond of Audrey playing with her toys in the bath Whenever one of them has a toy the other one wants it BUT they both LOVE the phone and can play happily together as long as they both have their own phone. I know they love each other, and I'm sure the more they hang out with each other the more they'll recognize that. I think a lot of the problem was due to the fact that Isabel had a LONG flight here from Australia and that is not easy to recover from, and Audrey is a loud little ball of energy which was probably a bit overwhelming.  There will be more pictures to come, and don't get them mistaken for twins because Granny Jules was sure to get them matching outfits for every occasion.

I need an Exterminator IMMEDIATELY

I'm pretty sure Truly Nolen should be expecting a call this afternoon.  This beauty is about 2 feet away from where my car sits in the garage. When I got out to get the groceries this afternoon I about crapped my pants. Does anybody know of a good exterminator in the good ol' Casa Grande area?

What a week!

*Note: My mom took most of the pictures this week... so this post will be lame until I get those. We have had the craziest week ever! Thanksgiving was wonderful as always. I was in charge of the mashed potatoes and they turned out SO good.  I only added 16 ounces of cream cheese AND 16 ounces of sour cream and threw in 2 sticks of butter, they went RIGHT along with my diet.  Next year I need to get a potato ricer because I like my potatoes nice and smooth, the mixer did it's job but they could have been better. Unfortunately there were no leftovers, or maybe that's fortunate...We had our Petersen Family Reunion over Thanksgiving weekend with my dad's whole family. While it was very nice to hang out with everyone, I'm not so sure I'm a big fan of having scheduled family events on a weekend that is meant to be spent lounging, eating, watching Christmas movies, decorating for Christmas and shopping. I did have a great time and it was especially eventful when my mom an...
