What's the deal?

I can't get back into the blogging business, but I'm going to try really hard. Here are some things that have happened in my little life.Audrey is a walkin' like a pro. I can't believe she is going to be 1 in 10 days in kills me! Everyone said it will go by fast, but man it goes by FAST!

She's still has her daddy wrapped around her finger, and cry's EVERY time he leaves for work. It has been spectacular having a husband who isn't stressed with school, and having to spend every spare minute writing one of his bazillion papers. I'm so bummed that school started again yesterday, hopefully this semester isn't as rough. Last semester till he graduates... HOORAY!

New Years was fantastic. I love low key New Years Eve celebrations. We put Miss Audrey to sleep and had a party of our own. We were able to catch up on some movies we missed, from when Audrey was first born. Apparently we didn't really miss anything. We didn't make it till midnight. Unfortunately my job begins anywhere from 4:30-6:30AM and I don't get holidays off. Being a mom is so rough! :)
Audrey still hates wearing bows, and still gets mistaken for a boy! I will never understand how someone wearing hot pink can get confused for a boy... owell

I had lunch with some of my best girlfriends from high school, it was not nearly enough time. I can't wait to do it again, I'm so excited for them to come out to Casa Grande :)

Audrey was so skeptical of her Uncle Cam when he got home from his mission, but now their best buddies

Audrey got this cute little dress and thinks the panties that go along with it is a hat. She won't wear bows but loves this! She will find it and bring it to me to place on her head... what a nut!

It doesn't matter what a baby looks like or what they are wearing, so many people always think they are boys. I think Audrey looks very pretty and girly, bald little head and all. :)We always get the girls ears pierced for their 1st birthday. It does help alot with the confusion.

Yeah, the last time someone actually came out and called Elizabeth a boy was election day last year. She was wearing purple and pink. hmmmm.
Audrey's adorable! Sorry we'll miss the Par-T!

Thanks for telling me about Miranda. Now that I'm not her teacher, I'm always so curious to know how she acts. I'm glad you'll be her teacher for a while, she was happy and recognized you from preschool. As for her answering questions, I'm afraid she just always says something silly and generic. oh well I agree that her prayers are very good. She says them at home most of the time. :)

Happy New Year!

We thought we’d bring some new energy to 2021 by completely tearing our house apart and getting our carpets cleaned. The cleaners were scheduled for December 30th, so we pulled everything out of bedrooms and gave the walls and baseboards a good scrub. In order to allow the carpets time to dry we didn’t want to walk on them so we used Elliott’s points and got a hotel up in the Woodlands. We stayed at the Marriott along the waterway and it was beautiful. There ended up being a storm that night which was unfortunate because we weren’t able to walk down the waterway and enjoy the whole scene up there. We ordered Shake Shack from Uber Eats and watched Hook all snuggled up in our beds. It was a perfect evening.  Once we returned home we got to work putting bedrooms back together then later that night celebrated the new year! It’s become tradition for us to do taste tests with the kids blindfolded. We did different flavored oreo’s and ice drinks. We ordered Buffalo Wild Wings and wa...

Good Morning

Our kids don't sleep in. If they make it past 6:30 it's an extremely rare occasion. The problem with this is that Pete and I are not exactly morning folk. We make goals that say we will be in bed before 10pm, but after a week or so we are back to staying up way to late. Having Netflix is not helping either. We love watching documentaries and could watch them all night long. Every morning looks a little something like this. Our kids full of energy and ready to conquer the day, while Pete and I are wanting to kill ourselves.

Summer Movies

We've been having a great time going to the Summer Movie Fun at Harkins. It's super cheap and a nice way to get out of the house to do something. I didn't know what to expect with my kids, but it has worked out perfectly. Other than Audrey having to go potty 3 times EVERY movie she sits really well through them. Brandon normally takes his nap and it's a very enjoyable time.
