A Good Day

( I think it's crazy how dark her skin is compared to mine) Today started with me weighing myself and finding out I only have 2 more pounds to loose for me to be at pre birth weight. Now let's be honest my pre birth weight isn't exactly anything to be excited about, but it's nice to know that I'll be back where I started. Score! Today is Pete's late day, which is wonderful because he didn't have to leave for work till 9:30. That is so nice! The bad thing is he won't get home till late tonight, but it made this morning really nice. Score! My visiting teaching came over soon after Pete left and told me to go lock myself in my room, and take my lap top with me and just go relax. Meanwhile she cleaned and played with my kids until it was time to go to our wards park day. She kept Audrey and Brandon until about 1:00 and even fed them lunch. Score, Score SCORE!! What a great visiting teacher. Audrey always wants to do a 'project'. I love that she lo...

Chick-A-Dees

Granny has new chicks! Audrey loves them, Brandon likes them in their cage.

Melanie Maree

I have never been so excited to have a baby before, I could not wait to meet Melanie. We were disappointed when we were told that we had to wait to come in because they didn ’t have any beds available. Around 9:30am we got a call saying we could go so we jumped in the car and were on our way. (I have a baby with HAIR!) I had Group B Strep again, like I had with my other 2. I’m allergic to Penicillin so the alternative antibiotic takes 2 full doses in order to insure that the baby is protected. Each dose takes a full 4 hours. This kinda freaks me out, especially because I read that a baby died earlier this year because they didn ’t know they had it. This is one of the main reasons why I get induced. I was dialated to a 3 when we got there and it took TEN hours to go from a 3 to a 5. Once I was a 5 it only took about an hour and half for me to be ready to push. It was very frustrating when I told the nurse that I wanted her to check me because I felt lots of pressure and I felt like...

We Love Daddy!

Pete took yesterday off of work and all of next week, HOORAY!! We've been spending time getting ready for a new baby. We picked up the house really well and had a house cleaning company come and clean our house. That was the best money I've ever spend! Pete still isn't completely sold, but appreciates the clean house. It feels so nice to have the things that never get cleaned taken care of, what a difference. We got the car seat in the car, and have spent the last 2 days doing things to make sure we are ready. We are being induced on Monday, unless she decides to come on her own which would be lovely. We spent this evening walking around Target and the mall trying to get Melanie to drop. Can't wait to have her out of my belly!

Perks Of Having A Big Sister

Poor little Brandon enjoying the benfits of having a big sister! It was so funny seeing him with long hair.

Romney for President

Pete called from work the other day to ask if he could take the kids to the Romney victory rally. Well he didn't have to ask me twice to take the kiddos and give me a night off! He said the kids had a good time dancing to the loud music. Mit wasn't there, but his sons were and Pete was happy he went. We just hope Romney takes it all the way!!

FIVE years!

We've made it five years, and ALMOST have 3 kids to show for it. I like the sound of 5 years, it sounds like we are gaining a little mileage. It's been a good ride so far, our personalities mesh perfectly. A lot of people mention how hard marriage is, and I'm sure we will have our rough patches but so far it's not ever something we need to work on. We really enjoy spending time together and working together to accomplish our goals and dreams in life. For Christmas Pete got me tickets to Wicked for the date of our anniversary. It was a really smart idea to be able to combine the 2 to make it more cost effective. I didn't feel so bad about the price! Wicked was spectacular. I've see a lot of plays in my life, but this one takes the cake. It's clever, funny, and the music.... OH the music. It just doesn't get better. We had such a lovely evening. Here is me with a nose bleed in the nose bleed seats, how fitting right? Here is me 9 months pregnant! This p...

New Hiding Spot

The other day me and Audrey heard Brandon calling for her. AUUUUUUUUDREY, AUUUUUUUDREY but we couldn't figure out where in the heck he was! He thought it was so funny when we found him in here, we thought it was pretty funny too. I thought it was cute until Pete cautioned to make sure Audrey doesn't start the dryer! Nice though, hu? I don't think she would do that though.

Church

Audrey loves church and Brandon hates it. She looks forward to primary all week. Our church time is 2:00 and it's awful. Brandon's nap time is 12:30 so we have to take him straight from his nap to nursery and he is not a happy camper. I like that we can sleep in and take the day to be lazy, but by the time 1:00 comes around the very last thing I feel like doing is getting us all ready for church I'm ready for a nap!

THAT Explains It

The past month or so I've been having lots of pain in my lower back and pelvic area. Walking is awful, getting up from the couch, out of the car, turning over in bed is excruciating. Stairs? Forget about it. I was attributing it to this being my 3rd pregnancy, I'm older, maybe her head is positioned lower. I waddle like no other because it's just plain painful! I finally figured out I have Symphysis Pubic Dysfunction. Basically my body is producing the hormone Relaxin a bit too much too soon. So the ligaments around my pelvis are too soft causing instability and pain every time I move. Wonderful, right? There isn't anything I can do about it and once I'm done being pregnant and the hormone is no longer producing things will be fine, but for the time being I'll just be in agony :) It's nice to know something is going on though.
