Date Night

Can somebody please tell me why nobody chooses to eat at Mimi's Cafe out here in good ol' Casa Grande. Let me just tell you the benefits. Olive Garden wait 45 min, Mimi's wait 0 min. The food is wonderful as well as the ambiance. They have a chandelier I would gladly take home in my purse, if that were possible.  ANYWAYS, because we live where we do the movie theater pretty much only plays one movie during any allotted hour. That sucks, because the only time we can really see a movie is about 8 due to Audrey's bed time. This resulted in us seeing this  Don't even ask me how it was because my eyes were closed for probably 95% of the movie. It probably wasn't even scary, but the music was. Obviously when that creepy music starts SOMETHING is going to jump out at me and I don't need that.  If I knew how to undo this annoying blue underlining I would. The night was of course wonderful because I love going out with my husband. I get to pick the next two movies we...

My life lately

I'll post a real post hopefully soon. I've been consumed by Let's Play Music. I'm advertising, recruiting students, holding sample classes for prospective student, preparing for the above recital (please feel free to come if interested), and preparing for my last 2 lessons.  Audrey is doing fabulous. She is saying hot dog, cheese, thank you, no, yeah, doggy, and other little nick nacks. Her favorite thing about going to the store is saying hi to everyone she sees. It's pretty darn cute. She's also starting to do animal sounds, the cow is her favorite and she normally ends up in a fit of giggles, and I LOVE THAT!

Making friends... kind of

Our friends the Bakers invited us over for a BBQ. Audrey and their son play quite well together until Ezra decides to give her a hug This always results in Audrey strongly pushing him away and screaming NO! We've trained her well :) Look how cute this bow is my mom made, I love it. On a side note what in heavens name is this creepy creature crawling on our wall!

Audrey's Easter Pictures

I had to steal these from Addie's website because the CD only works on my husbands computer, and since he is using it this was the easiest route. It's so frustrating because my computer used to be able to burn cd's and stuff but now it doesn't work like it used to it's annoying. Addie always does an amazing job, I love these pics.

Easter Weekend

We had a lovely Easter full of family fun! Saturday was my families Easter party. I couldn't believe how chilly and rainy it was.  Audrey's first Easter Egg Hunt! Giving Cameron loves We spent the night at my parents and went to their ward, then took off to Flagstaff to visit Pete's family. We went and visited Pete's brothers family but I of course forgot my camera. We had a lot of fun visiting with them and Audrey loved all the attention from her cousins. I really hope she didn't get anybody sick! She really loves the stairs, and could do it all day. She is almost to the point where she can get down by herself but not quite, so I felt like 90% of the time I was helping her get down these stairs. Playing with cousins. Her only cousin on my side of the family lives in Australia, and so it's nice for her to play with some of her cousins. We can't wait for Andrew and Amy to have their little kidledee, so she can have a cousin close by. Grandma Carolyn has lot...

Almost all better

These past few days have been no fun. I've been really lucky in that Audrey has been pretty healthy throughout her existence on this Earth. She was very sick Monday and Tuesday, I went through many clothes. Wednesday she wasn't throwing up anymore but had passed it onto me. I think yesterday was the worst because I was feeling lousy and Audrey still wasn't 100%. One good thing is Audrey was a little cuddle bug, which is rare. I think both of us feel pretty darn good today, but now it's dad's turn... Sorry Pete.

Happy Birthday Darcy!

I think it's pretty rare to find a friendship as awesome as ours. We grew up in the same ward but for some reason didn't start hanging out till high school, which is such a bummer. Since she decided to move to Africa (or Utah) I never get to see her. Today I've been reflecting on some of my favorite memories with this awesome chicka. 1.) Allowing me to write your name as a reference on a job application and under relation write BFF- I wonder why I didn't get the job... 2.) "You're a breaf of fresh air" 3.)Making Dala rent a Hillary Duff movie we wanted to see because we were too embarrassed to check it out 4.) "Sorry I had onions for dinner" Oh sister Merkley 5.) Mo Fro  6.)Iceberg!! Oh that job rocked. French fries, Tony, DRAMA, funnest people ever working there, late nights, dried ice cream on our arms etc. 7.) Seattle. Staying in a freaking haunted hotel, seriously THE SCARIEST NIGHT OF ME LIFE! 8.) San Francisco twice. Ghirardellis's... d...

Sick

We had a wonderful Easter weekend which I wanted to post about but Audrey has the flu! She's thrown up about 5 times already and it sure is not fun. Once she's feeling better I'll upload some pictures but for now I need to take care of my little one.

Oh Happy Day

There aren't too many things that make my day brighter than getting a package in the mail.  Audrey loves her Easter Bunny We all love the treats And I love my little decorations I got. Unfortunantly I look drunk in my picture so it won't be posted.  Thank you Grandma Carolyn you made our day!

A change of heart

Audrey refused to take a pacifier during the early months of her life. This was slightly frustrating because the child never quit screaming, we made it through nonetheless. All of a sudden I'll randomly see her walking around with a pacifier I have no idea where she finds them. It's so odd seeing her with one.  She thought it would be a good idea to wake up at 4am this morning, and NOT go back to sleep. She was screaming as if her life was in danger, is it too early for her to get nightmares? It's 11:30am and I'm still in my PJ's because I'm already pooped. Here is a little sneak peak of her Easter pictures. I get to go see the rest of them today, I can't wait!

A husband

I'm sure I could figure out how to change these light bulbs if I needed too. But it's nice I don't have too :) Have I mention my love graduates from ASU next month, I'm so excited! It certainly hasn't been easy going to school full time, work full time, and having a family but he did it! Unfortunantly this is just one step closer to more stressful time, but also a step closer to being DONE! Hooray :) I'm almost done making his announcements. I'm so sad I couldn't find thicker ribbon, because I feel like the proportions aren't right... but owell I couldn't decided which way I liked the back so I made 2 different styles. If you don't get an announcement you can still send us money, we won't mind :)

Life Lately

Here are just a couple snippets of life around here this past week Audrey got this cute nightgown from her Aunt Becky and she LOVES it. She will bring it to me and wants me to put it over her clothes. She has gotten really good at doing sign language. She knows how to say eat, drink, more, all done, and ball. It's really nice and fun being able to communicate with her. In this picture she is saying eat. Although she may be actually eating something, I can't tell.... but that is what it looks like when she says eat. We had fun putting stickers all over our faces She experienced eating olives off of her fingers and thought it was really funny. She spit most of them out, but wanted to keep putting them on her finger I just loved the expression on her face here I've been trying to decide what dress I want to be her Easter dress. My wonderful aunt, who grew up like our cousin since she is the same age as my brother, gave me some hand me downs. I'm so thankful to get hand me ...
