What happens while I'm sick

If Audrey is ever content for longer that 5 min I KNOW she is into something she shouldn't be, it's inevitable. Today I've come down with a cold which is always accompanied by an excruciating headache in the beginning stages. Because of my current condition I ended up allowing Audrey to be content in the other room as long as she was happy, so I could have some peace and quiet. After about 15 min I knew it was time to investigate. It wasn't too hard to find Audrey because she so generously left a trail for me to follow... what a sweet heart!   Along the trail I found this beautiful masterpiece, isn't she talented? And then the treasure There's the culprit... it's a good thing she is so cute! At least she helped clean up We made up by playing pick-a-boo and making fishy faces

If you need a good laugh...

Please visit       cakewrecks.blogspot.com Last night my husband and I were in tears laughing so hard. It's possible we were slap happy because it was late, but seriously it's funny. The holiday ones are the BEST Here is an example The cake that was ordered The cake they received It was dubbed the "bamPOO" cake.

Audrey Lately

These are little snipets from Audrey's life in the past couple weeks I never posted Audrey's actual birthday. This is her first birthday breakfast. Playing with cousins She loves finding things in the trash... This treasure happened to be ketchup and mustard Trying to fatten her up. Although I'm not so worried about it anymore. Thanks for everyone who made me feel like it wasn't that big of a deal. The doctor made it seem scary, but she doesn't know how active Audrey is. I am trying hard to feed her different stuff throughout the day so she can gain a pound or two before the next appointment It's been a lot of fun seeing her become more interactive with David. He's a boy I watch every Tuesday. Today she was loving the heck out of him it was hilarious. She climbed up on this chair, then in his lap and keep playing with his hair and face Then giving him loves... David wasn't too thrilled. She kept running after him all day trying to give him hugs and kisse...

Birthday Surprise

Anyone who knows my mom knows she LOVES Disney. So all my siblings decided to pitch in and send her to Disneyland for her birthday. I made her this poster. I couldn't believe I put January on their instead of February. I didn't realize this till AFTER she got it. Woops Got her this shirt at the Disney Store. They have some cute cheap shirts. Wrapped it up all pretty and then decorated the box. I was so darn excited to give it to her We were so mad because we wanted to do a ring and run. Unfortunately after we rang the door bell and were running around to the garage my mom was just getting in her car to go visiting teaching! So it didn't have the full effect that we wanted. She was SO funny though because when she opened the front door she was utterly confused. She looked at us and said...you know today isn't my birthday, right? She just kept looking at the box and asking, well what is this? Me and Cameron were like OPEN IT UP AND SEE! As you can imagine she was thrilled...

Valentines Day

We had a wonderful Valentines Day! It would have been more perfect if Pete didn't have to work all day... but owell. So I got to spend the day with this little peanut! Once our favorite person got home from work we went to this place  Now I know it seems tacky to spend Valentines day at Denny's but this is the place to be! Actually it's not the place to be which makes it perfect. Nobody goes there so there is no wait time, we don't feel embarrassed to wear our PJ's, and it's a little sentimental to us. Denny's was down the street from my apartment in flagstaff so we spent many a nights there with friends, playing scum and hanging out. It's now a tradition for us to go there every Valentines Day in our PJ's. Their sauces are SOOOOO good! The sauce makes or break a meal for me, and they've got some winners, I can't choose just one.  Daddy's little girl! We spent the rest of the night watching a movie, eating ice cream and staying up way to ...

Doctor's Orders

My baby is too skinny! I'd kiss the persons face who told me I needed to gain a couple pounds, but it's not so good in Audrey's case. She weighs 18 1/2 pounds and needs to be at 21. So it's not too big of a deal, the problem is I can't get the child to eat. She will eat a couple bites of something then call it good. I TRY to make her eat more but she won't, and since the child never stops moving everything she eats gets burned off. So instead of having 4 meals a day she will be eating something every hour... hopefully this will work.

Scored!... Or going to Hell

Because Pete is a fantastic banker he got a $25 gift card for making a lot of sales. This means we get to go out to eat! Olive Garden was the restaurant of choice. I LOVE this place. I'm pretty much completely satisfied with their salad and bread sticks. If I'm feeling adventurous I order the most fattening thing on the menu, fettuccine alfredo. This stuff is incredible. It's possible while sitting in a real restaurant in actual Italy, eating authentic fettuccine Alfredo I made the comment "it's good, but it's no Olive Garden" a comment I'll never be able to live down... but it was the truth. While the food is delectable, the service out here in Casa Grande.... well it sucks.  There is no reason it should take 2 hours, when only ordering salad and bread sticks, come on people. AND our server was so annoying. It drives me nuts when the server tries to be my friend... I don't want to be rude, but it bothers me. Chances are they will get a much greate...
