Breakfast

Did I really just feed my children brownies for breakfast? Yes, yes the answer is yes. The cereal was gone, and at 9 months pregnant the delicous brownies sitting ontop the counter was the most logical solution.

Says Audrey

"I miss you a million ice creams AND chocolates when you are gone at work."

Gilbert Temple Site

Probably THE most unflattering picture of our little family! Our Stake Presidency has asked each family to take a family picture in front of the Gilbert Temple. Unfortunantly this was an impromptu visit so I wasn't exactly picture ready, but owell. We may need to make another visit after the baby is here, and we look somewhat decent. It would probably also help to have someone else come along to take the picture and bring something other than a phone camera. I was suprised how huge it was. The Mesa temple is larger, but because this is so tall it feels immense. I wanted to get a picture of both the kids so we can see the scale. It will be really neat to watch this temple get completed. It has a special feeling there, and I'm happy we decided to get out and take a look.

The Day of Love

Audrey couldn't wait to make valentines for all her friends at preschool. I was pretty excited about making valentines with her for the first time as well. She cut out about 3 hearts and then was done with that part, but was all about the glitter and jewels. We had a good time assembling them the night before. She looked so cute right before I dropped her off I had to snap a picture. She had a lovely time at her preschool valentine party. Pete knows me well and came home with a box of mini bunt cakes. I don't think I've ever had bunt cake before but boy were they yummy! A little sibling love before bed time.

The Birthday Girl

Here's our little peanut already 4 years old! While it's weird that she is four, it sometimes seems like she should be older. I don't know if that's because she is the oldest, she acts like she is 14, or if it's just because it's hard to remember life before being a mom. We had a lot of fun making her day fun and special. This was her birthday table that we have set up all month. We had her presents all set out waiting for her for when she woke up. The little stinker found her bike before her birthday so she already knew what she was getting. She was still very thrilled to actually be able to ride it. I found a fun idea on pinterest to fill their room with ballons. After the kids were asleep we stayed up blowing up balloons for her room. It was hard to get a good picture of it, but it turned out pretty cute. She was thrilled in the morning. A while back my friend Addie and I made birthday pillowcases for our families. It was a fun easy tradition that we ar...

Tangled App

My phone has an app that will put Pascal on any photo. Audrey is a HUGE fan of taking photos of herself, and believe me I have the evidence to prove that. So, naturally she loves this. These are a couple of my favorites.

Big Boy Bed

Brandon has been climbing out of his crib for months so we figured we might as well get him a toddler bed. He loves reading books on his bed, jumping on his bed, pulling off all the blankets and pillow BUT he is not a fan of sleeping on his bed through the night. Sometimes he'll sleep 2 hours, sometimes 5, sometimes IF we are lucky all night. We turned his doorknob around so we can lock him in his room, but I just can't handle it. So I almost always end up with a little boy snuggled up next to me in the morning. Honestly I wouldn't really mind if we weren't having another one. I have no idea whats going to happen once the baby is here. I guess time will tell. . .

Big Brother

Brandon has been starting to piece words together, which is adorable. While we were driving somewhere out of no where he says, Melllllanie.... come oooooooout. We were all laughing and laughing.

Happy New Year

We had Pete's brothers over for New Years Eve and we had a really good time. We just hung out, ate pizza and played the Wii. I thought it was so funny that I told these two to smile and they both tilted their heads the exact same way. Audrey was sick this night. Not throwing up thank goodness, just had an on and off fever and not her usual spunky self. Then we went outside and let off some fun fireworks around 10, it was a perfect evening. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Christmas Eve/ Christmas

I was delighted to discover that Basha's had pre cut sugar cookies, which made making cookies for Santa a zero stress activity. A HUGE downside was that they didn't taste very good :( at least Audrey had fun, and I didn't eat more cookies than one person should partake. That night we went to Granny Jules to do the Nativity and caroling with the kazoos. Brandon was so cute, and was able to get his working. It got a little hard with him because he wanted to just run around like normal. This is probably my favorite shot of the night. Love it! Cracks me up, and the undone button on my dads coat just makes it perfect. Eating donuts and drinking hot chocolate. This is one attractive shot of Audrey I must say :). Next was opening up jammies . These were the girls. These were Brandon's jammies as you can tell from the look of distaste on his face he is not a fan of footsie jammies . Christmas morning was so fun. Audrey got a dress up closet and more dress ups than she...

Just Some Random Shots

Sometimes these two play really well together and it's cute to see. I sure love them. I don't think they look much a like so I can't wait to see if Melanie has her own look or resembles one of them. Brandon didn't want anything to do with Santa this year, but Audrey was all about it! We happened to see a couple different Santa's and she told each one she wanted something different, nice. Some of the things she asked for were a Snow White Dress Up, make-up, and a dress up closet. She is a girly girl. One day I got bored and adventurous and took the kids to The Muppets by myself. We only lasted about 45 min, but it got us out of the house to do something different and we got all our money back so I figured it was worth it :) They LOVE The Chipmunks and were enamoured by these. Since Audrey is all about makeup, Brandon is naturally curious about it as well. He happened to find my mascara and doesn't he look lovely? Getting a make over from Audrey is a very com...
