What happens while I'm sick

If Audrey is ever content for longer that 5 min I KNOW she is into something she shouldn't be, it's inevitable. Today I've come down with a cold which is always accompanied by an excruciating headache in the beginning stages. Because of my current condition I ended up allowing Audrey to be content in the other room as long as she was happy, so I could have some peace and quiet. After about 15 min I knew it was time to investigate. It wasn't too hard to find Audrey because she so generously left a trail for me to follow... what a sweet heart! 
 Along the trail I found this beautiful masterpiece, isn't she talented?
And then the treasure

There's the culprit... it's a good thing she is so cute!
At least she helped clean up
We made up by playing pick-a-boo and making fishy faces

I'm sorry but that was hilarious! I'm sorry she did all that and that you're sick, but it's so awesome! I'm glad you documented it! It's the same with Elizabeth! If she's quiet for any amount of time I KNOW it's bad! I hope you get to feeling better soon!

I can't believe she can do that fishy face, so cute! Mariana did the Qtip thing just yesterday, it was great. haha

What a stinker! She is one of the funniest babies I have ever seen! I love her fish face too. Hope you get the rest you are in need of. Hopefully she still takes naps!

Oh, I want to scrunch that little niece of mine... she is just too cute! I too am a fan of her fish face! Who couldn't forgive an Audrey fish face?

ahhh she is a doll. you can't get mad at that cute face. it could have been worse. thank goodness it wasn't cuz when ya don't feel good the last thing you want to do is clean up a huge mess :)

Happy New Year!

 We thought we’d bring some new energy to 2021 by completely tearing our house apart and getting our carpets cleaned. The cleaners were scheduled for December 30th, so we pulled everything out of bedrooms and gave the walls and baseboards a good scrub. In order to allow the carpets time to dry we didn’t want to walk on them so we used Elliott’s points and got a hotel up in the Woodlands. We stayed at the Marriott along the waterway and it was beautiful. There ended up being a storm that night which was unfortunate because we weren’t able to walk down the waterway and enjoy the whole scene up there. We ordered Shake Shack from Uber Eats and watched Hook all snuggled up in our beds. It was a perfect evening.  Once we returned home we got to work putting bedrooms back together then later that night celebrated the new year! Good Morning

Our kids don't sleep in. If they make it past 6:30 it's an extremely rare occasion. The problem with this is that Pete and I are not exactly morning folk. We make goals that say we will be in bed before 10pm, but after a week or so we are back to staying up way to late. Having Netflix is not helping either. We love watching documentaries and could watch them all night long. Every morning looks a little something like this. Our kids full of energy and ready to conquer the day, while Pete and I are wanting to kill ourselves.

Summer Movies

We've been having a great time going to the Summer Movie Fun at Harkins. It's super cheap and a nice way to get out of the house to do something. I didn't know what to expect with my kids, but it has worked out perfectly. Other than Audrey having to go potty 3 times EVERY movie she sits really well through them. Brandon normally takes his nap and it's a very enjoyable time.
