Homemade laundry detergent

I got the recipe for laundry detergent from the little birdie secret's blog. It was really easy and SUPER cheap. Honestly it works just as great as the store bought kind, but costs about 10 bucks cheaper and lasts twice as long. For about 5 bucks it makes almost 5 gallons. How cool is that? I feel so domestic :)  http://littlebirdiesecrets.blogspot.com/2009/02/make-your-own-laundry-soap.html

Wii Night

The other night I had the option to either plan my primary lesson OR have a Wii Night. I think we all know what the obvious choice was. After we put the Peanut to sleep these rad people joined us for a night of fun!

I love SPRING!

I am in love with this time of year, for many reason. 1.) The weather is perfection. Today's forecast is a high of 78 degrees and sunny can't beat that. 2.) The smell outside 3.) Conference is coming soon, one of the best weekends in the year 4.) Easter and all the candy that comes along with that 5.) Easter dress, which I'm having the hardest time finding for Audrey. I want smocking and a slightly puffed sleeve. Why oh why does this cost $78. I want it!!  6.) Leaving the windows open at night, and hearing the birds chirping in the morning and feeling the cool air 7.) All the pastel colors. I want to make this along with my list of million other things I want to make.... 8.) I loved the excitement of a child knowing Summer was fastly approaching, which meant FREEDOM. 9.) Easter Pageant, although I don't remember the last time I actually sat down and watched the whole thing.  10.) All the beautiful flowers In the celebration of Spring I made sugar cookies. Which turned o...

Child slave in training

Audrey has taken a liking to cleaning. I think it's so cute, and I hope she always likes it because I need the help :) Not much has been going on around here. I feel like my baby is turning into a little girl and it's killing me! If only she would grow some hair... it is coming in though, slowly but surely. She will only drink milk from a "real" cup. She thinks she needs to hold it herself and most of the time it ends up with a huge mess and a change of clothes. I just thought this picture was cute, with her little fairy wings :) She already loves dressing up

Now whip it.. into shape

We took the plunge and got gym memberships. We originally had planned to stay the night at a hotel for our anniversary but our friends talked us into getting a membership. The money intended for a hotel went towards this. Soo... we vowed that we would whip ourselves back into the shape we were when we met. Tanya and I went to the gym tonight and we learned a few things 1) We are VERY out of shape. 2.) George Costanza works out at our gym 3.) It's a good idea to follow around fit, skinny people because obviously they know what they are doing 4.) Pretending and getting creative on the machines is fun and very entertaining. Maybe one day we will figure out how to do them.

Bliss

These past couple of days have been so fun. Our actual anniversary day we went to the zoo. It was the most perfect weather for a zoo day.   Audrey had a great time! She was off running to the next thing :) The tram ride is so nice, I love the relaxing ride around the park. We finished this day with dinner The next day we went to a Spring Training game. It was Dodgers vs. Diamondbacks and I told Pete whoever won I would become their fan. So... apparently I'm no longer a D-Backs fan which is the best news Pete has ever heard.  Our seats were very close! I was terrified anytime a ball came near us, which was a lot, because I got hit HARD one time at a game. The only bad thing is it's out in the sun and my skin and the sun don't mix. We had a really good time anyways Today we did NOTHING till about noon, it was beautiful :) I don't remember doing that for a long time. We just lounged around and hung out, I loved it. It has been a perfect anniversary. I don't want P...
