I Love Bashas

We are fortunate enough to live down the street from Bashas . Some people argue it's over priced, but by shopping the ads I don't think it's that bad. I spend about $70 a week and that's about what I would spend at Fry's. Here's what I love so much about it. They have a kids club! AMAZING! Brandon isn't old enough for it, but it is extremely convenient to have Audrey in there. She asks to go to the kids club often. Who doesn't love samples? They offer about 5 samples a day. I'd never tried a clementine before and I was able to discover that I don't really like them. I never would have known if it wasn't for Basha's Their doughnuts are so yummy. A lot of stores have doughnuts, but they don't taste like these. I'm attempting a new diet so I may have to skip the doughnut window for a little while :( Just a random picture of Audrey ready for church. I was thrilled she asked to wear a bow and kept it in all 3 hours.

My Money Boy

This little guy is climbing all over things, and this scared me to death! He was so proud of himself.

A Little Picture Happy

After not having a camera for several months, I can't seem to put it down! A few things I found picture worthy. This is how we vacuum now-a-days Audrey liked the idea of breakfast in bed on Mother's Day so much, she enjoys bringing me cuisines from her kitchen.... she's a GREAT cook. My little girl, who's growing up too fast It makes me so happy seeing these two starting to play with each other. This past year has been crazy, but moments like these are a payoff. We got Netflix, and it's amazing. It takes the sting away from not having cable, we had no idea how many things we could watch online. Let's pretend Audrey's hair doesn't look as such and she is clothed... but who am I kidding, her hair just looks silly a lot and she prefers to be in the nude. We had corn and watermelon for dinner and it officially felt like summer It's hard to get pictures of Brandon because he mostly just wants to grab the camera which results in a blurry picture of ...

Mother's Day

I had a lovely mothers day. I got a CAMERA! I'm so thrilled :) I'm also very blessed to be a mom to these little nippers. Audrey got her feelings hurt when we told her she isn't aloud to play with with the camera. Poor Audrey. A beautiful end to a beautiful day. It makes me so very happy when the kids fall asleep on the way home. Bed time is always exhausting after a long day, so that was a nice gift as well! I sure love these 2, and am proud to be their mom.

We Had A Party

A Mad Hatter's Tea Party to be exact. My SIL, has a dream to create unique homemade parties in a box. We thought we would take on this adventure, and Audrey's would be the first. Anyone who knows Audrey knows she is basically obsessed with Alice in Wonderland. Since this was for our "business" it's a little above and beyond what I would have normally done for a kids birthday party... but I had fun creating it.... and I think Helen did too... right Helen? :) We made many trips to thrift stores and found lots of treasures It was a lot of fun gathering unique pieces that would work perfectly for the party This was the hat decorating station. The goal was to actually create mad hatter looking hats but it ended up being a bigger head ache than was intended so Helen came up with these little lovelies. Aren't these the cutest party hats? You can kinda see the banner I made. It took a long time to make it how I wanted it too, but it finally turned out. All set up f...

Ahhh Man!

My camera kinda flew off the couch and broke! The little piece that holds the battery chipped off. So I sadly went to find my old camera, which wouldn't turn on. I hate that. A lot . Such is life. Audrey currently has bronchitis, but she was a champ at the doctor which was a miracle. She doesn't understand that she can't go out which is torture in our neighborhood because everybody always goes outside and plays after school. She just had 4 kiddos knock on the door asking her to go out, poor Audrey. Brandon is getting teeth and standing up all by himself and still cute. His favorite thing is to suction his mouth on my cheek and blow air out to make a tutting noise. Audrey and I think it's pretty funny as well. All 3 of us laugh and laugh. It's moments like these that make me happy. All it takes are tutting noises :)

Lost

I've been staying up till midnight the last couple nights trying to get everything done for my calling and my music class that starts NEXT WEEK! Yikes, I am not ready. Midnight is way past my bedtime which made for a very tired mommy. Yesterday while nursing Brandon I fell asleep and when I woke up I couldn't find Audrey. She rarely ever takes naps, so after checking the normal spots around the house that she would play I checked outside and there was nobody. I panicked. I started knocking on every one's doors and soon the whole neighborhood was out looking for her. Someone mentioned to call the cops so I did. There were lots of people looking around the house, under beds, in closets and drawers. I've never in my life felt more horrified and helpless. I went in my bedroom to say a prayer and saw Audrey asleep in the sink with nail polish smeared all over her body. The SINK! I don't know how we all missed her, but I clung onto her and sobbed and sobbed. I don't ...
