HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRANDON!

This post is in the exact opposite order, but I don't have the time to redo it unfortunantly so we will start from the end of this little boys special day! Pete was able to get off work at 6:00pm on Brandon's birthday which is early and we were going to go out to eat and have a fun night, but Brandon was done for the day and out by the time Pete got home. We tried really hard to get him up but he wasn't having it. He only got a 20 min nap, and it messed him up, darn it. We met up with Pete for lunch to get Brandon's free kids meal at Fuddruckers. It was fun meeting up. I had scheduled to have Brandon's 2 year check up on his birthday so I could spend some time just with him. He did such a good job at the doc and meeting up with dad was a special treat. Happy Birthday to YOU!! Yummy birthday waffles, that he didn't eat! Just the cream and a couple strawberries. Playing with his new toys. We filled his room with ballons, he loved it! I ...

Pandora

I've heard people talk about Pandora, but I didn't quite understand what it was. Boy had I been missing out! All I have to do is type in a song, an artist or a category like Disney and then it plays that music like a special radio station just for me, AWESOME! Here's a little game we like to play. I turn on the Disney songs and Audrey listens to see what Disney movie it's from and then runs to her room to change into that princesses dress and then prances around like she is that princess. Love her!

Brandon's Idea of Playing

Brandon brought in Melanie's bath and insisted that we put Melanie in there. I reluctantly obliged, I wasn't sure what he was wanting to do. Once I got her in there he was ready to push her around the house! He's such a little boy.

Shall We Go to the Ball?

Audrey was taking longer than normal to get ready for bed the other night, so we asked her what was going on. She proceeds to come into the family room dressed as so and states in some sort of accent that she is ready to go to the ball. What a nut!

4 Year Check Up

Audrey was a nervous wreck before her doctors appointment, the poor thing. I wasn't even sure if she would need shots and I kept telling her that. Once we found out she needed 4, I almost wanted to start crying for her. She was trying so hard to be brave, but when she would talk I could tell she was trying not to cry. This lovely little gown perked her up a little bit, who knows what she is doing though. She liked the actual check up with the doc. She weighs 42 pounds and is 41 1/2 inches tall. She is in the 75 th percentile for height and weight. The shots were pretty traumatic, she doesn't whimper or squint a little she full on screams and starts kicking her legs where they poke her, oh my goodness it's an ordeal! I strongly believe in vaccines so I know it's worth it, but good grief it's pathetic. Two minutes later she is totally fine and asking for her sticker and sucker! We are so lucky and grateful to have a happy healthy girl.

Our Easter

Our ward had a fun Easter egg hunt and breakfast at a park the Saturday before Easter. Pete ended up having to work, so I debated whether or not to go. I'm glad we went because Audrey & Brandon loved it. Audrey and her friends conversation while opening their eggs was so cute. They were so surprised opening each egg. The biggest excitement came from opening eggs with Reece's! Easter Eve Here is what the kids woke up too. I really wanted to get the CD with primary songs for this year, and a couple church books for them but the Dollar Store and Target were the only stores I managed to get to this year. Next year I will try to do better. Now, I'm fully aware it's ridiculous for an Easter Bunny to bring a tramp! We went back and forth about whether we should get this, we fell in love with it at Sam's Club. We live in a lovely cul-de-sac and the kids are used to us going outside and playing in the front yard, that has changed a little bit now that I need to nurse and...

What's Your Name?

Chances are if you ask Brandon what his name is he will respond with Arse. We have no idea where this came from, but it makes us laugh.
